Frequently Asked Questions

Why do tickets suddenly become available for shows which are "sold out"?
A: Much depends on when the artist's stage is set up for the performance. If the stage is smaller than anticipated, or the sightlines are wider than expected, more tickets are made available for sale. Also, every artist also holds seats to accommodate dignitaries, friends, or family who may be traveling with them or visiting in a particular city. If the artist doesn't intend to use these seats, the tickets are returned to the box office for sale.

Is there a specific time when these tickets become available?
A: No. There really is no way of knowing when these tickets may become available. Most often it happens on the day of the show, but sometimes can be days or weeks before a show.

Can I get better seats by going to different places?
A: No. Every person pulling tickets, whether over the Internet, at a Ticketmaster outlet, or at the i wireless Center, is drawing tickets from the same pool of seats.

Is it possible to take a tour of the i wireless Center?
A: Yes. We ask that you arrange your tour of the facility in advance so it does not conflict with the building's event schedule. Call (309) 764-2001, press '0' to speak with the receptionist.

Is it possible to use one of the skybox suites on a one-time basis?
A: Yes. Learn more by clicking here.

Does a child need a ticket if they sit on my lap?
A: Generally children ages 3 and older require a ticket to an event. For certain family shows, children as young as 1 may require a ticket. Contact the box office to check the age requirement for your specific event.

Can persons using wheelchairs get floor tickets?
A: No. Due to fire code regulations we are not allowed to place wheelchairs on the main floor. Special needs seating is available on the concourse level, adjacent to our luxury suites. All special needs seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check our special needs page for further information.

How do I find out about upcoming events at the i wireless Center?
A: By phone. Call the i wireless Center box office at (309) 764-2000 for an automated recording of upcoming events or through the net. Log on to www.iwirelesscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com

Can I exchange my seats for better seats if something else becomes available?
A: As a rule, there are no refunds or exchanges on tickets purchased for events at the i wireless Center. However, depending on the show and artist, and if it has two or more price levels, it may be possible to upgrade your seat to one in a higher price level. If you already have a top-price-level ticket, we cannot upgrade or exchange it.

I forgot or lost my ticket, can you replace it?
A: The i wireless Center is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, however, if we can independently verify your purchase, we may be able to issue replacement passes. Much depends on where and how you purchased your tickets. If purchased using a credit card at the i wireless Center Box Office, or over the phone through Ticketmaster, we may be able to find your seat location. However, if you purchased your tickets using cash or at a Ticketmaster Outlet, there is no way that we can locate your seats and you will have to purchase a new, full-price ticket to see the event. If we are able to locate your ticket transaction, there is a $3.00 seat-replacement fee per ticket.

My tickets were stolen, can you help me?
A: Notify your local law enforcement agency and bring a copy of the police report to the i wireless Center box office as far in advance as possible to the event. Like lost tickets, we must be able to independently verify your ticket transaction. When you come to the event, alert an usher if someone is using your seats. Don't try to handle the situation yourself.

Can I page someone at an event?
A: No, most performers do not allow this. Guests are encouraged to leave their seat locations (section, row, and seat) with babysitters or others who would need to contact them. If we know the guest's seating, the i wireless Center will make every effort to locate the guest.

How do I get back-stage passes?
A: The i wireless Center does not sell or give away back-stage passes. Back-stage requests are only granted by the band or the band's promoter.

Why do you search bags/purses before patrons enter for an event?
A:
Due to the tragedies that have struck both our nation and others, the i wireless Center has implemented additional security procedures for all events. There is an increased security presence at all entrance points, and there are new restrictions on patrons leaving and reentering the facility. In addition to increased security; all bags, purses, backpacks, etc., are subject to a voluntary search. If patrons do not wish to have their belongings searched, they will have the option of returning these items to their vehicle. The i wireless Center believes it is in our best interest as well as the interest of our patrons to implement these guidelines on a full-time basis. We are asking for the voluntary cooperation and patience of all our guests.
